This picture is very rich in colour and texture. I love the graduation of tones in the sky washing over the block colours of the houses, but what I like the most is how the shadows fall at the edges of the street and separate the cobbled street from the houses. To my mind it's not just the cobbles that capture the eye and pull it up the street, using the strong perspective lines to lead us, you could look at any of the photo's edges and the same would be true, whether it's looking along the houses or up at the sky. It helps that your vanishing point is nearly dead centre and balances all the sides so good on you for composing your shot so well.

Its been said that nature is the greatest artist of all, and that we get the opportunity to see her works every day.We capture a moment in time to manipulate it bit more to present that work in a new way.
I love the blend of colors and light , the feel the many textures in what is a vibrant and alive shot. Its funny though, as I don't see the scooter or lights detracting from this shot. They speak to me of the presence of "Now" in an old part of the city, and they seem to merge successfully as the scooter, lights and person are more in the distance, not up front , so therefore do not take away from the primary focus which is the Sunset in the distance.
